Samantha Bond is a reformed corporate lawyer, now writer and public servant. Her creative work has been published in numerous national literary journals, anthologies and magazines. She has an Advanced Diploma of Professional Writing, winning the award for Highest Overall Achievement for her graduating class of 2014 and now teaches and mentors in that course.
Samantha loves books containing heartbreaking and humorous characters, a plot that keeps her guessing right ’til the end and a bit of sexy romance is great too. She leans toward the crime genre and tries to provide all these ingredients in her own fiction.
Being the word nerd that she is, Samantha doesn’t discriminate against non-fiction. She’s been a freelance reviewer and writer for the Indaily and Glam Adelaide since 2008, and is kept very busy during Adelaide’s Mad March Fringe and Festival season covering the acts that converge upon her beloved city.
Samantha also freelances for The Content Partners providing copywriting, article and e-book writing services for the corporate world. Sam has tutored many individuals in their own creative writing pursuits, as well as students studying English and Legal Studies. If you’d like to speak to her about how she could help you, she’d love to hear from you.
Finally, Samantha is a busy mum of two gorgeous, but time-consuming, littlies is an unapologetic chocolate addict, believes that Buffy would so slay Edward (which perhaps shows her age) and is a writers’ festival groupie.
